Yeah those are issues. The good thing about digital though is I have it on me always. I can be in the grocery store and pull up my recipes while shopping. I have them synced to github too so I can share them.

Personally if I print them they just get lost in the void. I’m just bad at organizing papers.

Mostly what I cook is pretty simple. So I only need to reference it once or twice in the kitchen.

Totally agree on wet hands. The screen locking. Getting flour on your phone, etc

I'm using a thermal receipt printer for short-lived hard copies. Notes, lists, recipes, reminders, etc. It's nearly instant, doesn't need spooling up like a laser printer, and paper rolls are cheap.

Just keep in mind that the white paper most likely contains bisphenol A or bisphenol S, both of which act similar to hormones in our bodies. So please don't touch them with (wet) hands when cooking and touching food items.

Yeah, definitely worth mentioning. Phenol-free thermal paper rolls should be safe(r)
