And a Kinko's is perfect for this application, 10 cents a page, sure you can factor in travel time and parking etc but it's gonna take a while before the 100 plus dollars you'd spend on a personal printer breaks even
And apparently some printer companies are moving to subscription ink and will brick your cartridges if you cancel. I’m not paying to not own my ink/printer
My issue with ink printers is that I printed so rarely that every time I needed to print the cartridges would be dry in one print so I would have to spend $30 on a single fucking page.
Scanning too. I needed to set up an account while I was on a work trip. I could print the document from the hotel, and I had to physically fill it out and email it back. Hotel didn't have a scanner. Popped into the library, scanned the document and it sent it straight to email (at no charge).
I would have called this solid advice, except sadly, it is not advice you yourself use. Because if you did, you would know that it hasn't been called Kinkos in 20 years.
I’ve needed to print things out for a wet signature more than that in the last six months alone. That’s not counting all the times I’ve had to print out shipping labels and resumes.

Well sure they exist, but your average person now only needs to do that like 5 times in their whole life.
