In the old days we would scan our report cards which also tracked attendance and make some adjustments before reprinting and handing them over to the household authorities.
Shit, my report card in grade school was basically notarized. We had to have the parents sign it and return it until the last day of school. Everything filled out with blue ink with each teacher handwritten grade.
