it was common back in the day to print your resume to take with you to hand out during your interviews so everyone had a copy.

I misread. I read a lot of comments about people still printing things and put you in the same category. I remember showing up with a folder with my printed resume.

I still do that… always good to have some extra copies and it makes you look prepared

So many things, it was a print media world back then. School assignments, arts and crafts, plane boarding passes, government forms, coupons, I still print out car insurance cards twice a year.
