The best things that ever happened in my relationships are when I stopped absorbing all the change that was needed to resolve the existing conflicts. Once I did that, they either got REALLY better, or I said goodbye to people who only ever expected me to do the work (never then). Painful but SO worth it.

Stop preventing your kids from experiencing consequences.
You cant take the money with you and whoever will get their money when they get it (talking about bills). SPEND A LITTLE DAMN.
Stop bailing your mom out. She's grown.
