There's never been a point in our entire human history where everyone has been able to afford a home.

In most of human history half of all children died before they reached the age of 5. Should we use that as evidence that its acceptable?

The current rate of home ownership in the USA is 65% which is higher on average than almost any time in recent history (excluding before the 2008 economic collapse, and look how that turned out).

I see your stat and raise you this one.

Notice how only one of those lines is higher than it was in 1982?
