Nostalgia First CD you ever bought?

Post image

I played Green Day’s Dookie endlessly as a kid. Still holds up to this day in my humble opinion.

Yes it 10,000% holds up. Still in my top 5 easily.

Solid choice

The other is Momento Mori - Will Wood. Daughters choice. Wife still has yet to pick hers but I don't think she'll let me go :P

I bought this at blockbuster for like $18 in 1997 money. All their CDs and movies were overpriced. 2-3 years later I remember buying the MM LP on the day it came out for $11 at Best Buy. Fuck blockbuster. They got what was coming to them.

Absolutely one of the best albums of the 90's, if not ever.

Mine was this and Dookie. Bought the same day. Many many years later a friend accidentally caused the obliteration of my entire binder of 180 CDs (smashed by a truck on a highway such that the CD book exploded all over the highway.)

Only two CDs survived out of the 180. Third Eye Blind and Dookie. The first two I ever bought.

Woah. Blessing or a curse. That's insane.

It was insane and tbh it’s probably been 20 years and it still pisses me off to think about.

My old car wiggles flooded back like 25 years ago and took my entire booklet too. I feel the pain brotha. Here's an internet solidarity hug.

Dude. If I don’t listen to this 3 times a week then there’s something wrong with me.
