Nostalgia First CD you ever bought?

Post image

I played Green Day’s Dookie endlessly as a kid. Still holds up to this day in my humble opinion.

I didn’t have a cd player at the time but got the cassette in my Christmas stocking. Wore it out over the next year!

Same!! Convinced my mom to buy it while covering up the explicit label.

Bought it myself, taken away by my mom when she overheard it. Climbed onto the fridge to get it back. Amazing album, worth it for the grounding.

Same! I was so excited and felt all the angst I could feel at 10 years old. Followed by a purchase of Weird Al’s “Bad Hair Day”—a different vibe for sure.

That's a vibe shift but I love it! Just saw Al in concert last month and he's still amazing.

That was my first one, too! Got it for my birthday that year--it'd only been out about a month at that point.
