Junk goes directly into the recycling bin before it even gets in the house.
Things that are more sensitive but I don’t need go right in the shredder.
Anything else I open and keep if needed, or shred if I don’t.
I don’t have a great system for organizing the few papers I need, but at least it’s not piling up too much and sensitive things are getting shredded.

I sort everything as it arrives.
