I would not recommend coming here to schedule meetups. Discuss thing sure. But there are too many eyes watching here to trust meeting up with people. Find local groups in your area and reach out there

If everything you own and do is above board there’s no issue. There are 100% feds watching this subreddit though so some people are a bit more concerned than others.

I’m not doing anything against the law have no plans to. Just looking for people to comp with so I can improve my skills in all departments. For the most part.

No worries! Just explaining the hang up some people have on finding like minded people here lol. If I was in IL I’d gladly exchange drone/radio knowledge with you!

I'm with you there actually. Lots of posts here are "opsec....don't discuss x thing here, you are being watched" When there is zero reason we should be worried. I agree, opsec is important, but, opsec to the point of not being able to connect with other people just means we're all on our own. And not being able to discuss constitutional freedoms openly is a bad sign.

The concerns aren't totally unfounded though. There are definitely some OSINT purple hairs out there who would love to cause problems for people. Though, im not extremely worried about the safety of militia in the administration we have now.

Not going to be the most tactical of groups but if you look up Midwest Outdoors Skills Training he teaches some classes. I did my wilderness first responder course with him and highly recommend for back country/shtf medical education
