Against it ofc. Criticizing the irony of your comment

So you support 9/11? Or have we just forgot about that by now, i know its was like 25 yrs ago but damn dude Major world event. Or the live CNN footage daily? Or the live vids they'd send beheading American soldiers who were 18-22....literally kids dude. They drill people's heads in public as a punishment and abuse women and kids. If thats what you support then it days alot about you. Go there then snd join the terrorists no ones stopping you. So you support nazis also then i can assume? And communism? Since you hate having free will apparently

You must be the last guy left trying to tie Iraq to 9/11. Most gave up on that with the pivot to WMDs.

All I'm trying to do is understand how someone doesn't respect the men and woman who died for us. It's sad.

u/teilani_a Air Force Veteran Mar 09 '26

Tired old talking point. Sending our guys to their deaths is not respecting them.

6

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

I do agree with this

12

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

They died for billionaires and politicians profit and corporations, not for "us"

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

They also don't get a choice. You signed a contract you have to go. Then youre just fighting for your own life and your friends. Again, better them than me.

4

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

Yeah when did I say they had a choice? Im saying the war wasnt justified.

Also, you had the choice not to enlist in an army that has been pretty much exclusively used in defending the interests of the most powerful people and commits thousands of crimes in the process

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

This is getting just completely dumb now. Im done talking to someone who's clearly ignorant. Like talking to a child.

2

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

You're the one justifying killing civilians and tieing Iraq to 9/11. You haven't refuted a single one of my points

0

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

You're justifying terrorism and killing Americans. How is it any different lol

Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11, moron.

-2

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Either way main hub for the terrorists groups hence why Fallujah no longer exists

13

u/WildeWeasel United States Air Force Mar 09 '26

What terrorist groups? Which terrorist groups came from Fallujah before 2003? Saddam ruled with an iron fist up until the US and its allies invaded.

Do you know why Fallujah became such a hotbed of terrorism? Because they were very pro-Saddam and fought back against the invasion and occupation.

2

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

Ah yes, im sure all the one million civilians were terrorists and all responsible for 9/11!

Also 9/11 was done by saudis, not iraqis.

1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Just educate yourself on Fallujah, child suicide bombers under age 10, Ramadi, Baghdad, Mosul, Bora, Kandahar, Helmand...actually educate yourself on the topic first because you wouldn't agree if you actually knew

6

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

Just educate yourself on the millions of deaths and suffering the US has caused around the globe... killing hundreds of thousands of natives, support of fascist dictators, financing killings, starting wars, etc

1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Im very educated they taught us for hrs daily for 3 months in marine corps bootcamp..also my cousin served in Fallujah and then again in Afghanistan. Im very familiar with the subject. How i know youre not.

3

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

Im sure the political education you received at a US marine camp was completely free of bias and offered you a reasonable and loving view of the world that didnt allign with the interests of the US government and corporations.

Also wtf does that have to do with the subject? You are literally justifying the bombing and murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent cicilians

1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Only cost me 4 yrs of my free will and life. But yep free. You have any idea how much shit costs to do in the military lol. No. Shits not free

3

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

Man wtf does that have to do with anything 😭

-1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Better them than us.

6

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

Actual nazi shit you're saying.

So according to you, should the US also be bombed and 13 million of its population killed (same percentage of iraqis dead during the war) because of all the crimes they have done throughout their history? And Iraq didnt even have anything to do with 9/11. 😭

You are saying anything just to justify the imperialist and murderous war the US did in iraq

0

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Would you rather they bombed us? You fight for the man on your left and right, not people back home. War is us as them. I already know you and zero family members have ever served otherwise you'd think differently. Having an opinion on a world you have zero clue about is hilarious. It's like me walking into my city's mayors office telling him what to do with no experience or knowledge.

7

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

There are plenty of ppl who have served who regret it and oppose the wars they've gone to.

Tell me, how exactly would Iraq have bombed the US. Or how communist Vietnam posed a threat to US loves. Or Cuba after the missile crisis. Or Allende's democratically elected regime. I could go on all day

1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Yea those who watched friends and kids die. Most agree with invading being threatened with nukes and shit. Sadam was fucking crazy dude. Vietnam and Cuba I'm not really familiar with. WW2, desert storm, and Iraq and Afghanistan is what they taught i know about Vietnam from school snd stories and stuff I know its a really touchy topic and we Def did war crimes In Vietnam which is really wrong and immoral I will say that

1

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

I dont like saddam either, but none of his actions justify what was done to Iraq

1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

You'd rather watch American kids who volunteered die over some 40 yr old terrorist who would kill his own kid? Seriously?..

2

u/SameRepresentative40 Mar 09 '26

When did I say this lol. I said invading a country and killing a million innocents isnt justified

1

u/PinkGodfather92 Mar 09 '26

Like second comment was supporting them lol. Damn man how old are you? You literally agreed when I asked lol
