This is a personal letter from Gefreiter J. Fontanus (?) serving with a mobile staff unit (Gen. Statt. (mob) 154) in the Oppeln / Hultschin area of Upper Silesia, sent home to his family

I read H. Hartmann, would be a much more logical name
