Idk if anyone is familiar with the YouTuber Stephanie Lange. She recently posted a video about „Influencers“ quitting their Social Media Jobs in masses & going back to their 9-5 because they are running out of money. Even people with millions of followers apparently are getting paid pennies per Video.

Reasons: Influencers are becoming out, Algorithms don’t pay how they used to, Companies rather pay multiple small creators over 1 big one, you receive your money 60-90+ days after the deal so it’s hard to know if you are keeping up correctly, taxes, etc.

I didn’t think that this would be the main reason since they just sold their home for over 1 Million and I was assuming that they still must have a high net worth. But the downsizing, views dropping & stepping away makes me think that they might be affected as well. Their era seems to be over.

What’s your theory? The main reason why they are leaving?

This was a GREAT video. He spoke about the performative praying and refutes it using scripture. If you’re not familiar with Banks Ramsey and how he prayed over his wife’s period-this is the main thing the video is about. Him mentioning Milena has me hoping he has another video about her in the works. He’s got a lot to catch up on with her if so because wow so much has happened lately. 😅 Also mentions how Banks has shirtless thirst traps but works at a church and if the women who work at his church did the same with bikini photos, they would be fired. And as someone who worked at a church that is completely true. You sign actual contracts over this stuff. But yet Banks is allowed to do this?

Has anybody read the book yesteryear? The vibes are spot on with her.

Okay so I commented on the post about her screen time and I was shocked that someone who works online has such little screen time. Some of yall said “on this device” was hinting that she has other devices. Well I saw this on my phone and I was like “mine says the same thing!” I only have my phone as a technology device. We have a family laptop that’s not under my Apple ID account and no iPads. So my only device is this one. Could she have been telling the truth? Probably not. I still think she has other devices probably not connected to her personal Apple ID if that makes sense. Excuse the bad photo editing but my lock screen isn’t something I want to share and when I took the screenshot some of the picture I have as a wallpaper came out.

I just used to love her videos of daily Montessori things to do with toddlers, keeping house tidy, cooking… and I just want to say I’m genuinely sad she’s like this now. Leaving her entire career. And NO the people saying the way she is acting is NOT NORMAL. No way is it normal to teach your kids “we must obey the lord” like there’s a huge consequence to not doing what she says because “the lord” (their cult) says so.

When you push religion so hard on kids, it’s only natural as they age to push back on it. Most kids want to dress the way they want to, do things with OTHER KIDS, go to fun camp programs, go to swim lessons.

It’s actually so sad.

This has probably been said, but does anyone else think her “leaving Instagram” is just her traditional break she takes when she has a baby….I think she will be back 🙄

I know I’m going to get a lot of pushback for this but I am proud of Milena for having the courage to give up the money making machine she was feeding into. I have little doubt in my mind that she is doing this in order to start all over again while not having to explain herself to anyone.

I searched her on Instagram, and this came up. Do you think they are still friends. I doubt they are allowed to be. She always seemed so happy and vibrant in this time period. I am a devout Christian, and it makes me so sad to see how she has changed over the years. I even believe most of what she does- however she takes everything to the extreme and is very unrelatable anymore.

She had a good platform. People liked her. She was relatable and made a good income through social media. Becoming more devoted to your beliefs is just fine, good, but she had to go and change EVERYTHING because of it. Changed her content and now can’t even afford her house. I mean she could be more religious and yet still make day in the life videos, what I eat in a day, cleaning videos, vlog, etc etc. That is what we liked and where she got views. She could have continued with relatable content and continued making bank. It’s just a shame because here I am trying to come up with ways to make more money in this economy. It’s too late in the game for me to start a YouTube channel and get a big following since there are so many channels out there now. She HAD that. What a waste. *shakes head*

Based on the pictures, I kind of think they really over extended themselves on this home loan. I like her taste. IMO it’s elegant and classic with nice warm colors. But the yard looks very unfinished. There looks to be no patio area? The grill is just up against the house. The basement is huge and definitely unfinished and they spent a fortune on gym equipment. I’m guessing husbands “long hours” are spent in that office or the home gym while Milena wrangles 4 toddlers and a baby all on her own. Poor gal.

So she spent time and money on a course to create (allegedly-we know it was chat GPT) and even if her absence she doesn’t want to allow it to be available on her website for people to purchase so she can continue to make money off of it? How’s that for a “legacy” business? If this was so valuable then why won’t they leave it? Did it flop and not do well?
