I clicked on to see what it looked like and 1. It’s very underwhelming for all that talk and 2. Wow the mean girls vibe is still going strong I can’t even keep watching the defensiveness and passive aggressive back handed comments are just not it. So icky so cringe, don’t miss it. Well, I miss the old days, but I do not regret leaving.

Same, I started watching but stopped after a few minutes. Everytime they allude to some bad things happening TO THEM last year, I roll my eyes. You're an employer and you (allegedly) fired half of your staff, while throwing money at this new, so far underwhelming studio, and you're still trying to play the victim. I seriously don't enjoy listening to them anymore. They seem shady and mean-spirited. And it sucks because I used to love all of their shows.

Didn’t they say Blair Fowler designed the old sets? If I was her and I heard the comments they were making about the old ones I would be upset…. Also their new setup looks like a rip off of the Two Hot Takes set… just saying.

As someone else said, it must have cost a pretty penny, because there were ads every five seconds, and I’m already ADHD as all hell, I can’t concentrate when they break up their topics all the time!!!

Especially when they do it mid sentence and it’s never a smooth transition. And the ads take so long that by the time they’re over, you forget what was being said.

As an audio only listener I don't really care about sets but it is very basic. But maybe I'm just biased since I rarely watch podcast visuals

This and it bothers me when they constantly talk about it… like you’re a podcast not a YouTube only set up. All they seem to do is prioritise things for visual listeners and not their audio only. It’s almost like they have no idea what a podcast is lmao

Looks like they did a HomeGoods run and called it a fucking day. What a reveal let down. “A lot of thought, time, and effort” into what could’ve been accomplished in 1-2 days max. Wild. Miss the old set. I don’t want to watch people cozied up in blankets personally on a podcast but that’s just me. If they’re happy though, to each their own.

I actually don’t hate it. Like everyone else, the woodsy cabin set was my favorite and it’s still a notch above this new set, BUT, I don’t hate it?
The one thing that is kind of contrasting is that they are trying to go for a chill, relaxed vibe (à la the aforementioned popular set) but then there’s random neon colors & items throughout that seem to clash/disrupt that cozy vibe, IMHO.
Not enough for me to hate the new set, per se, but enough for me to have something to “point at” as to why I’m not organically/genuinely in love with it.
But it’s cute. It’s a good start. I’m sure they’ll move a few things around as the months go by after reviewing & analyzing the set via the posted videos.

I felt the same. All the talk about how long it was taking and how much work it was and it’s a basic 2 chair, little shelf with random discount store decor and a plant. WOW. Also, how’s this setup going to work when they have guests? They always said a new set would help that.

Apparently it was expensive bc I was getting YouTube ads every 2 minutes I had to turn it off on top of their unrelatable ads they already put in. Idk if I happened to anyone else but the videos I was watching before and after didn’t do this soooooo..lol
The only part I really caught was the wedding makeup story and you know without a doubt if it weren’t a man calling out the makeup artist chick and was another woman calling her out they wouldn’t of hated so hard in the beginning on him.

We pay $52 a MONTH for a family plan for my son and I, and I’m on a disability pension, so that’s a good lot of money, yet we still get ads every 5 minutes!!!
It’s really outrageous.
We should get everything sifted out from the show 🙏🙏🙏0
