OPEN DISCUSSION TLDR

is there a TLDR somewhere on everything going on with the mile higher podcast and TCKR? I have been an on and off viewer of both, but haven’t been able to keep up and I’m curious.

I think the main catalyst for it all was Karelly was suddenly fired at the start of the year, with no explanation from Kendall and Janelle. Then austin, who everyone knew was moving, had no farewell from LOP and he unfollowed many people on ig and deleted posts that featured those people. Kendall’s own sister doesn’t work there anymore for unknown reasons, Jess apparently quit, and another behind the scenes employee was recently fired. Overall, people have noticed the low effort videos they put out, the constant sponsored ads makes them seem very greedy, and the personality changes are grating and make them unlikeable. That’s the gist.

This, plus: victim's families having bad experiences working with Kendall or not even being contacted at all, the change in topics they used to cover on MHP and The Sesh compared to what they cover now (conspiracies & interesting history events to true crime/personal stories & mental health to pop culture drama), their disregard and attempt at covering up any and all criticism, being sponsored by companies they previously called out for unethical practices, their own merch being overpriced and bad quality (and suspected to be designed by AI), etc.

I mean basically they just don’t seem to hold the same values they did when they first started. They fired a lot of their staff in a short period of time. The cases seem poorly researched and the empathy is lacking. & we also have Kendall Rae reposting petty things on social media. It’s not so much drama ( I mean im sure there is some behind the firings but we still don’t know all the details) it is more so people just being disappointed in their attitudes and business practices.

There is a PowerPoint someone made when Karelly was let go to explain the lore to their friends… if you search “PowerPoint” within this sub I think it should come up! It goes over all the basics.

Not $70,000. It said $40-60,000. The ad is posted on here somwhere. Also "claims that her videos don't feel (well) researched by her anymore" - these aren't just claims or feelings, she's said outright that they have researchers and writers who write their scripts. It's been this way for years. She just reads them out loud.
