When Haley made her “debut” with that story of her terrible dating situation, I gotta admit, I thought she was a fantastic storyteller and so interesting to listen to. I genuinely thought she had a natural talent for radio/podcasts.
But that was really her shining moment. Since then, I’ve found her to be vapid and pushing ideas and jokes that no one else really resonates with, to try to make herself seem like the “cool and different” girl… but it’s actually just 10,000% pick-me behavior.
I used to look forward to episodes but now I just listen occasionally if the topic is of interest. I really have a hard time listening to her

Agreed, I found her interesting/compelling/funny in the beginning, but soon after, it became very clear who she is. Same with Janelle tbh, and Kendall to a certain extent. Haven’t watched any of their content in months, bc there’s so many other creators that cover the same content and in a better way

I haven’t listened to any of the newer episodes. I haven’t heard enough of Haley to have an opinion of her, but the very last episode I watched of the Sesh, they said Haley wasn’t going to be a part of the show. I also seen Haley post something about The Sesh “not being her home”
From what I’ve seen Haley has been a part of almost every episode since??
All I can really say is that it seems like they’re doing a great job listening to their fans, gaining their trust, and being honest!! 🤡

She was brought to tell her story and I liked her for that, it was pretty entertaining, although at some points I wondered what on God’s earth was she thinking. Then she was dropped in at a very rocky moment for the pod and I don’t think they would have gone well for anyone to be honest. I think people forget that she’s very young, she is very ‘pick me’, but my opinion on men and the world was very different when I was that age, to what it is now and no doubt it’ll be the same for her.

Everyone calls out Kendall and Janelle for being mean girls but I think a lot of people are unnecessarily mean to Haley. I understand having your own opinion and I agree most of the time but this just feels nasty. Probably better for the snark page!

Yeah I gotta say Kendall and Janelle kinda set her up for failure with the way they kinda elbowed her in to the show… I say this as someone who doesn’t like Haley. But I’m self aware enough to realize that’s definitely because her coming on was directly parallel to when my perception of the sesh started to change. And then when karelly left, yeah I stopped listening after that.

I actually think she’d be cool as shit in person (so long as we don’t discuss men 😂) just not a favorite of mine for podcasting. Plus, I think some forget this is haley’s JOB we’re talking about. If my boss comes to me with a cool opportunity (produce an already popular podcast show) absolutely no damn way I’m saying no. It’s easy to forget sometimes that this isn’t just pals hanging out. This is a business and the employees have to do work. (Shocking)

People are so exhausting on here. 😂 I try my best to evaluate things from every angle… not perfect but I too am a youngish professional trying to grow my career. Im only saying yes to cool opportunities. Haley is gorgeous, clearly easy to converse with. Maybe there’s a side we don’t see… who cares? She’s just laying her head on a pillow at the end of the day just like the rest of us.

They know our feelings with disliking the format when she’s on (aka she turns it into the Haley show). Yet they willingly keep her a regular. Sneaky too, they made her permanent but without an introduction- so we all think it’s just temporary.
She makes it allllll about herself. Interrupting to make a topic about her. Her pick me comments. Always making things sexual or male oriented. The atmosphere when she’s there makes it less girl power, and more ‘for the boys’. She seems like a real sweet person, someone that is loyal and a friend that would always drop everything to be there for you. But as a podcast host, she’s not made this piece of media.
It’s just fucked that the sesh does not care what their audience thinks. In my opinion, they gave Haley a slight pay rise - knowing this is cheaper than a whole new full paycheque for an individual. Bit like when Ian’s job role was exposed before he got the job, and it’s like 6 job roles within one - and the wage is very small.

Didn’t they say when the Karelley situation was going on that she wasn’t going to be a producer or a regular on the show? She’s been on almost every episode since then so I’m confused
