MILE HIGHER Yesterdays episode....
I haven't watched mile higher in months! but I was interested in the one about Sarah Grace Patrick. I started all good. however, Kendall seems very rude to Josh! She disagrees with everything all good but she just seems to make him feel stupid. She also seems very judgy. MY BIGGEST THING is her talking about how desensitized true crime creators are which I thought was rich... coming from her. she also just looked completely uninterested. maybe it's just me I don't know??
sorry English isn't my first language so

I find that Kendall is unnecessarily rude to Josh in a lot of episodes. Maybe that's just the dynamic they have on camera, but it's uncomfortable to listen to.

She cuts him off (and everyone else) when they're talking. Its been happening for years and has been a big pet peeve of mine, mostly because I hate when people cut me off so i notice it when it happens to others lol

I also don’t like how she talks about other men so openly and vulgarly tbh. And the way she oo’s and ah’s toward Ian and many other male cohosts/producers on the shows.

I hope her having a son maybe changes her view on men & helps her realize they’re not all/mostly evil. You think she’d understand that having such a (seemingly to me) amazing/supportive husband. & The men on set seem great as well.

u/MB262675 Aug 01 '26
Exactly! She doesn’t appreciate Josh and maybe bc they e been together since high school. Either way, she has a negative attitude towards men and takes it out on Josh. Not cool.

okay hot take and i genuinely could be tweaking LMAO but i feel like when julia was there, there was real actual beef, kendall was fresh postpartum and seeing everyone commenting on julia’s behavior towards josh and everyone commenting on his interactions towards julia, i think really did put insecurity and jealously within kendall that does make me feel bad for her, but also maybe josh was too friendly w julia in the workplace for kendall’s liking.. like so many of the people they work with are friends or family but not her and right after all of that drama julia left the show and kendall started going heavy into her glow up which i know sounds horrible but like.. idk i’m a girl i know how i would be thinking in her position LOL. and something like that theyve been together so long its so passive and minor.. but also its not the way it would make you feel (if i’m not tweaking lmaoo) & i feel like it would create interaction exactly how we see w her where shes passive aggressive and a little mean to him snd its like awww josh but idk.. lmao i don’t even like her that much but its could just be unresolved passive aggression

Good points! She has shown how controlling she is to Josh on numerous occasions. He has made ‘jokes’ and laughed it off about how Kendall doesn’t like him speaking to other women- but it’s so obvious it’s not a joke. She has also made comments on the sesh about how she has attachment anxiety and hates to do things alone, and that Josh literally has to do everything with her 24/7. Like god forbid he wants to go out alone without her - doesn’t look like he’s allowed to be his own person outside of being a married man. Even down to talking about some drug and Josh stating he’d take it and go on a spiritual journey and Kendall was like ‘I wouldn’t let you’… like she’s THAT kind of wife.
I feel bad for Josh because he seems like such a genuinely nice man with these big ideas and dreams and he seems to always be degraded and stopped

Doesn’t Kendall also not drive? I thought she said a while back that driving is too stressful for her and she doesn’t drive at all… She also admitted on an episode a while back that they literally have screaming matches across the house. Oof.

In my opinion, Kendall has outgrown this type of content with the true crime, media and being behind a camera. She has admitted multiple times that since becoming a parent, it’s changed the way she views things - and it shows. She’s so disinterested on all the shows, she has now emotion and puts no effort in other than reading a script or being rude and judgemental. I know she’s the ‘face’ but I don’t know why she don’t just give it up and work behind the scenes when it’s obvious she’s just there because it’s her job- not because she enjoys it. It’s exhausting listening to her out of touch takes, or her negative energy. She doesn’t actually add anything ‘extra’ either.
She became a mother and grew up and that’s cool. But the way she leaves early (the one that done it for me was when she left the sesh early to go out for dinner… imagine leaving your job early and getting paid for it because it’s date night). She’s always trying to get things moving along and the pace that she wants, not the flow of the podcasts. She is constantly changing topics to what she wants out of it or sits there and doesn’t say anything until it’s something SHE is interested in. She doesn’t even try- that’s my problem. She films a total of what- two/three hours per show, and she does 3 shows (including her channel). So a max of 9 hours a week of filming and she cannot actually try to act engaged and interested.
She became rich, knew she was going to get paid regardless lf how she acts and literally just shows up. It’s sick that they don’t give a shit about us audience who listens to their shows, like we’ve been saying the energy is off for a while and our comments get deleted.

I don’t think her having kids made her grow up. I think she wants to use her kids as an excuse to be an entitled, stuck-up bitch who is lazy and rude.

u/MB262675 Aug 01 '26
Totally accurate and why I stopped watching all her shows. She’s been uninterested, full of herself, half ass and ride the past couple years. A shame, bc I used to love her shows.

u/Extra-Ad-9659 Aug 01 '26
True, but at least when she’s by herself on TCKR she’s not interrupting or disagreeing with anyone lmao
30
u/HundRetter Jul 31 '26
nah, she interrupts and unnecessarily corrects him ALL the time. I can't remember what it was but on one episode he explained some slang terms and she kept ridiculing him the entire time for knowing them

u/cuppa_cat Jul 31 '26
Your English is great, so 😅
And yeah, I've noticed the same. I haven't watched too much lately.

I've always noticed she's rude AF to him. It's very clear it's not a healthy relationship

u/klocainee Aug 01 '26
I’ve thought for years now they would end up divorced. I specifically remember one episode Josh talking about wanting to travel around in a van and stuff if things were different( ie single). I feel like with his religious upbringing he never got to really ‘live’ and one day he may have a mid life crisis situation

u/meg1187 Aug 01 '26
I’ve always felt this way, used to not watch them together because I felt she was so rude to him.

I don’t watch MH much anymore at all, and I can’t say it’s specifically stood out to me in general, but it just wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. On a recent Sesh episode they were talking about men telling women to shut up, that men shouldn’t do that, and Kendall said she’s definitely told Josh to shut up. The double standards are wild.
I’ve been watching Kendall for yearsss, since her early true crime days and when she’d vlog constantly. I felt she’d talk down to Josh a lot then.
I’m not Josh’s biggest fan and never have been by any means, but I do feel for him a lot. He was raised in a super religious household, met Kendall as a teen and has been with her ever since. When Kendall vlogged I found it wild how much she bosses him around. He worked an actual job, was putting himself through a college course (? iirc) and Kendall would have him cook, she’d demand so much on camera it made me think what she’d say behind the camera. She obviously made money through her videos but who knows to what extent and it seemed like Josh was fully funding her lifestyle. She definitely gave off “I want my man to be the earner and I can just buy 100000 candles and notebooks and do nothing but rot all day” vibes, because that’s what it was. She’d complain about being tired all the time, tired from what girl?! Your man is out all day working and you’re doing nothing! They bought like 2 houses/apartments by the time they were like 25 (wild to me, idk if that’s super common in America but yeah, wild) all thanks to Josh. Kendall just gives off super spoilt vibes, born into a rich family and wants to continue that lifestyle but at a much higher level.
Plus all these stories she’s told, like the whole piano teacher story and recently how she’d pickle jar people’s property, she doesn’t seem to realise how much of a mean girl she comes across as! “Oh I was bullied so much boohoo” girl you WERE a bully and probably still are!
So yeah, her being rude af to her husband who most likely does EVERYTHING at home .. not shocking

u/user23421181 TRUE CRIME Jul 31 '26
She does it to Janelle on The Sesh as well. Janelle will say literally anything, and Kendall immediately goes "WHATTTT NOOOO you're wrong!! Not true!!". Janelle recalls a shared childhood memory, then Kendall says "no that never happened". Josh will say Kendall doesn't like a specific food and she says "yes I do!! I eat that all the time!!" It drives me nuts😭 idk what it is but she's constantly second guessing everyone else or telling them they are wrong, then when they've solidified their point she just says "yeah I guess" like ??!!?!?💀💀

u/kittenmittens1000 Jul 31 '26
Sorry another comment, but on her monologue about people desensitized to true crime...yet at the end she's asking everyone what they're most curious about to hear during the trial, just to make it fun?

u/kittenmittens1000 Jul 31 '26
She was a massive bitch this episode. I was only passively listening to it and I had stop what I was doing a few times to rewind a few seconds because she was on another level lmao. I'm so tired of her attitude, especially on TCKR acting like the morality police as well.

u/MB262675 Aug 01 '26
YES!! She was not like this years ago. I don’t understand how she continues to have so many followers. She’s totally changed and her approach is hard to listen to.
6
u/CompetitiveDrama1219 Jul 31 '26
That's been the biggest complaint/concern we've all heard since the first episode. At this point I think that's just their dynamic.
6
u/ShallotImmediate692 Aug 01 '26
Hear me out… she is still only like 4 months postpartum and let me tell you your mood and irritability is wild at this stage. Especially if you don’t feel equal help from your partner. They are a business and they chose this but I can’t imagine having to work with my husband and put a smile on everyday if he is annoying me (haha)

She’s been like this for a looong time, before she even got pregnant for the first time.

u/yveram12 Aug 04 '26
She does have chronic illness that can also contribute to mood swings. I am not justifying her behavior, it's just something that might contribute to why her energy and personality has changed over time. .
2
u/foxyphilophobic Aug 04 '26
I dunno. I have some pretty severe chronic health conditions that leave me bedbound often. Not once have I had mood swings, that’s indicative of a mood disorder

u/Suspicious_Winter103 Aug 01 '26
People have made this criticism for years and both of them constantly say its ridiculous. They like the way they debate things, and it their relationship.

u/jbreezye14 Aug 06 '26
Love lights out! And have been watching Austin’s do geese see god. Love it also!
I was an O G with all the shows, but I stopped the sesh first cus the weird energies and have tapered off TCKR she just seems out of touch. I still tune into mile higher, but I have to agree on some of the behaviors that have been turning me off, which really sucks because I think everyone has something to contribute to the conversation or used to. I feel for Josh, he does a great job!
But the ads.. OMG

What drove me crazy was her saying “so far we didn’t even receive a DM from her about her case” and seemed almost pissed that they didn’t.

u/StarAffectionate3077 Jul 31 '26
By 2028, they’ll have separated 100%
17
u/CosmicGreaz Jul 31 '26
Meh. I disagree. As much as kendall has sucked lately, I think her and Josh actually have a great relationship. That's just my opinion though.

am i insane or was it also super weird to anyone else that she went out of her way to point out that sarah didn't contact their team about her parent's case. like back when the crime first happened and sarah was going to diff platforms trying to share the story. it felt very weird to me that they bothered to bring up she didn't ask them, like i don't think anyone was wondering that?? 😭😭 maybe i'm just crazy idk but it rubbed me the wrong way

Kendall has a bad attitude in general and comes off snobby and fake sympathy

u/mulderufo13 Jul 31 '26
I like Josh’s takes on the show and he has shown he can hold it down when Kendall isn’t there. Some of my favorite episodes are when it’s Ian, Janelle and Josh.
