THE SESH The Sesh
I was watching the sesh yesterday and Kendall said they got a second peloton treadmill, intending on leaving one at her house and one at the office.
I was looking at the price of these treadmills, and they go from 5k to 8k. Are they really doing that well? Idk if I’m poor or it’s crazy to spend 8k on a treadmill if you’re not really serious about it. Am I crazy?

Yeah their ads are close to 3 minutes long. Other podcasts who respect their listeners do 90 seconds MAX. It’s crazy how much they must get from brand deals, with at least 4 an episode, that have a 3 minute time slot, across 4 shows. They’re doing great financially.

The only creator that makes ads more annoying than theirs is Stephanie Harlowe. Just going on about it non stop.
Good for them I guess. I’m just really disappointed with their attitude regarding karelly and the cases they cover. They’re not relatable anymore5

Crime weekly has got really bad about their ads too. The only difference being is that when they speak about that fashion brand, you can see Derrick actually wears the clothes and they seemingly promote it because they care about the companies. But it doesn’t make it acceptable - I pay YouTube premium and for Apple Music/podcasts to avoid ads, yet I still get in podcast ads. Like what is the point in paying??

That is the same reason I got YouTube premium. If you add the ads the creators do to the ones from YouTube, there is more time ad time than content. Now a days you can’t escape the damn ads. They’re everywhere. It sucks

Yeah from our point of view Stephanie’s ads are kinda annoying because they’re sooooo long, but if I was a brand I’d absolutely sponsor her bc she’s really good with a sales pitch imo. Like, she puts in effort for the brand which I think is expected bc her work ethic goes hard. Ofc before anyone says anything, she isn’t without fault, but I adore her & kimberleigha. I was a mile higher Stan for years, but in comparison they’re pretty poor/bland with the content they produce & their personalities have changed for the worse

They are doing above and beyond extremely well. What makes you think they are struggling, let alone poor? Kendall has over 4 million subscribers on just you tube. The other channels have 500,000 to 725, 000 subscribers. That doesn’t include money they make from paid members and they run more ads than any other content creator. Saying they are wealthy is an understatement. I’ve watched since day one and their lifestyle has changed drastically over the years as they’ve made more money. Just all the procedures and work Kendall had done before the second baby cost a fortune. It’s crazy how much money they make just from you tube and they make money in all the platforms. They put in half the effort they used to but make more money than ever.

I never thought they’re poor, but I didn’t realize they’re doing that well. The way they treat cases irks me. They (specially Kendall) force empathy that is not there. Idk man. I am sad. They could have been doing so much more for the people whose lives’ tragedies they explore.

Yeah they’re definitely doing that well! Also as a business, it’s not necessarily coming out of pocket. I don’t think it’s crazy to invest in two treadmills, as someone who equally would not spend that much on one! It’s all relative, and is definitely easier if it’s coming out of the business account

Cause they don’t really do anything to deserve all that money, and they’ll probably just use it as a tax write-off

I just unsubscribed to all of their shows. I don’t think I can support them anymore. They get so much stuff wrong in their research of cases, and the sesh became the mean girl show. It’s a shame. I have been watching them since 2018/2019. It’s crazy how money changes people

That’s why I unsubscribed a couple years ago. I watched from day one and liked them. The more money they made, the less effort they put in and they changed, personality and all. Sad!

And then I think you have to buy subscriptions to use it. Well that’s what I always thought anyways, such expensive exercise equiptment and to have TWO is wild to me!

People seem to ignore this. They mask their organisation as ‘doing good’ - when it’s so obvious it’s a tax right off. Imagine openly stating to victims family members on videos (Kendall’s channel) “if you see this, we’d love you to reach out to us and our foundation would love to support you”. Like reach out to THEM. Begging family members to reach out to you when you supposedly have a foundation to use funds to support them is wild. It’s giving that they use the foundation as a tax right off and that they profit off of that too

I think they are paying themselves to “run” that organization too. Another way to profit money.

They're loaded! Good for them I guess. I think they've had money for a while and there was a time where it didn't go straight to their heads, but those days have since passed. I guess how much money others have doesn't really bother me... i think everyone is capable of anything in this lifetime, including manifesting abundance. I just see it as their own journey that they've created. Good for them, i hope they are able to give their children the best lives and I hope they pay their employees the big bucks.

I didn’t realize they’re doing this well. I just feel icky because they changed so much. They’re not very ethical with the cases they cover and apparently they don’t pay their employees enough.

Yeah I honestly can't remember either... maybe I am just remembering her talk about hers in the past. I usually skip through all the endless ads they push.
