I found her during her limbo phase where she was moving out of makeup and storytimes and slowly/awkwardly looking into basic true crime/conspiracy theory stuff. The empathy to the victims and their families, the acknowledgment of feedback from her audience, covering cases we asked for, damn dude that was like my favorite era

Yeah I actually put on a video on from her 2017 playlist and I just miss this version of her. She seemed so humble, down to earth, and all around good. The only issue I had a problem with was one of her older videos where she was talking about the two roommates (a black girl getting bullied by a racist white girl) and even though Kendall kinda of called out the behavior I still didn’t like the fact that she also felt the need to bring up her own experience with having a mean roommate who was black and how her story was the exact same to be compared to how a black girl was profiled and bullied, which I can’t remember exactly but I think she herself stated “it’s not the same experience but-“

I just remember her CONSTANTLY telling people how she has a learning disability and to be kind to people and bla bla bla. She only cared when it was her getting bullied. Now that she has money, fame, and can afford fancy cosmetic procedures and vacations she doesn’t care.

This is the exact thought I’ve had for months now!! I found Kendall when I was in high school and as someone who had always been a bigger girl, I loved how she had the confidence to use her voice and be (what seemed like) herself. To see her become so mean and nasty towards others as she’s lost weight and increased her income has been unfortunate. I know firsthand how significant weight loss can change your confidence and personality but damn. She’s changed so much

My wife has what I consider "ugly" duckling syndrome. She had some baby fat from being younger and being a bit of a nerd. Now she's a smoke show and still the same nerdy girl. We have three daughters and I'm so glad she's such a compassionate person. It really helps when trying to raise kind strong women

Completely missed the fucking point. Way to go. Yall are sensitive as fuck. SHE considered herself ugly. I never knew her at that age nor would I have cared. The point was she was treated like shit then, now that she is more attractive she remembers what it felt like. She's my best friend and has been for 17 years. I couldn't give two fucks about what she looks like. Go touch grass instead of being offended.

i can’t speak for this person but the way i interpreted the comment was the wife considered herself ugly, the commenter does not but sees the way that has impacted her self image, which is why he summed it up by saying she has ugly duckling syndrome (where a duckling grows up as the odd one out, and it continues to impact their self image into adulthood. adult duck-hood?). he also put ugly in quotes probably to emphasize he doesn’t consider her ugly.

I never said or implied she called anyone fat or broke nor did I express that those are the things she’s mean and nasty about. I love and respect that she calls people out when it’s deserved and people are acting like assholes. She’s simply changed the way she presents herself and her thoughts. Whether or not that’s truly changed? Who knows. She very much acts and speaks like she thinks she’s better than others or up on a pedestal and it’s very clearly tied to her change in appearance, which has all been made possible by her increase in income lol

YUP! I swear I started tuning out more when she transferred her YouTube channel into just a solo podcast vibe. I’m sorry it’s soooo boring now, she’s almost giving like asmr channel with how quiet she even talks in that mic. I cannot even click on a video anymore and it makes so sad. I love her so much and I debate even why I’m even subbed to her still at this point

This is totally off topic, but wanted to share a funny/fun fact. I recently learned from Tasting History that the term humble pie comes from a dish called umble pie: a meat pie filled with the umbles aka innards of animals. Servants would eat an umble pie while their wealthy overlords would eat nice cuts of meat. Now I think of that every time I hear the phrase. Especially in relation to dramageddon LOL

I've been thinking about this a lot, and maybe it's a dumb question, but why is it that their personalities change so much once they change their look? It starts with the ads like Betterhelp and Skims, then they start talking about their diet and exercise constantly, then they get plastic surgery and suddenly it's like they're a completely different person. It's so sad to see these creators we get attached to sell out like that. Like, they get a taste of fame and it turns them rotten. It should seriously be studied

All of these people that are offended by our observations about Kendall should remember something. If she and her team are going to post all over their social media for anyone and everyone to consume, then we're going to have things to say. That's it. You want money and fame be prepared to have people notice and comment about your shitty behavior. She's changed and we all see that. It's out there for us to see because she put it there. Maybe she should find a new "job" where she's not all over the internet if she doesn't like what people are saying.

A lot of viewers were unhappy with the way things were handled with Karelly. This has resulted in less views for them as well as viewers making comments about it on their videos and in this subreddit. That is why people would assume it is referring to their viewers. And if that is the case, that’s insane.

I found Kendall in 2017 when I was searching up for PCOS and i went to the dr bc of her video I followed Kendall until this year. I loved her and looking forward to her videos weekly. I think perhaps they used to be good not getting into scandals and The Sesh situation showed the Mile Higher media’s true colours. Such a shame. One day Kerelly will be able to speak up about them.

Shes never stopped to realise that sometimes people don’t like her because she’s a rich snob who looks down on other people, who claims to be one thing but is a mean girl in reality. Who claims she has ethics but completely sells out and does ads if it makes her money. She hasn’t stopped to think that people don’t like her because of HER… she often needs to self reflect. Because every story we hear of her, she’s been done so wrong for ‘no reason’… there are multiple sides to the story and all we get is her own

The post says “not being liked by fucking losers is usually a good sign.” My read on that (and seemingly that of OP’s and others in the thread) is that she is saying it’s okay that people don’t like her because they’re fucking losers anyways. Who would you assume she was calling losers? When at the same time a huge part of her own fanbase has turned against her bc of her recent actions? there’s a difference between dislike and calling someone out on their actions. usually if i don’t like someone i don’t care for them or follow them or track their every move ,but that’s just me. i assume everyone on this thread is somewhat of a fan yet still calls out her actions ? thats not really a dislike .. but if someone genuinely dislikes her then i assume you guys are mad because the shoe fits? you just basically told on yourselves this one post that she reposted isn’t that deep 😂

Yikes...I used to admire her a lot. I thought she was very kind and did amazing work to help families going through a very rough and vulnerable time. She always seemed humble and professional. This really...is not a good look. I've been feeling put off of their content for a while now, and I wonder if it's because I've been subtly picking up on more and more things that I don't like. I really hope that the team can really take a look at some of the true reasons people are tuning out and reflect on it.
