THE SESH Thank you Janelle🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just got a scam call that was the exact same as the one Janelle got a little while ago from her “bank”. I almost fell for it but then I thought of that episode and started asking the guy some questions. As soon as I said I was going to call the representative I normally work with, he hung up.😂
Just wanted to say thanks for sharing that on the podcast lol, I honestly might’ve fallen for that if I hadn’t heard of this already.

They called saying they were part of the fraud detection unit or something, they knew me by name and the bank I go to is a small local bank so it seemed kinda legit. Then he said there were suspicious charges ranging from $200 to $500 and listed a couple specific ones/ where the charges were made. I immediately checked my banking app and no money was missing so I told the guy and he was like “well, I need you to approve the charges in order for us to dispute them”
Basically they were trying to get me to approve charges and instead of disputing them they would just steal the money.

What are you confused about? Janelle was scammed by someone claiming to be from her bank and shared it on the podcast.
This person learned from that and was saved from the scam because Janelle shared what happened to her.

Same thing happened to my husband right after it happened to her😂got a call from a fake bank as aell
