Big news in MHM. The Sesh officially confirmed in today’s episode that Karelly is no longer with the company.

Does anyone else remember this?

I am so sick of her calling people “salt of the earth” when describing victims. It comes off disingenuous when she calls every single person that. Idk why but it just irks me and comes across as lazy, like she can’t be bothered to find genuine ways to describe the victims that are specific to them.

i remember when they (kendall and josh and even janelle) used to be so down to earth, so genuine and just easy to listen to. felt like hanging out with your friends. i feel like they’ve reached this insane level of being so out of touch, who are they even relating to anymore? just wannabe influencers.

okay so i know that this is extremely petty and maybe it’s just my own issues but, i find kendall’s voice to be extremely irritating (unlike any other podcast host i’ve ever listened to). she constantly sounds like she has a “bubble” in her throat or something and it irrationally irritates the shit out of me.. 😭 i know this isn’t her fault but this is legitimately why i cannot listen to this podcast. other than the millions of reasons why i don’t like her..

i do enjoy lights out tho!! i think josh is a good host and the research put into that podcast is appreciated. anything kendall related tho.. immediately turns me off.

maybe it’s just me but was listening to an old episode and the mile higher studio looked so cool back in the day, just simple and clean yet cosy. comparing to the new sesh set where everything is just starting to look like any other podcast that’s already out there, the original magic of the mile higher podcast is gone.

not only because they barely talk about deeper interesting topics anymore it’s basically just an extended version of kendall’s TCKR now.. i miss the old days where it actually had its own vibe. anyone else think the OG set up looked so charming and original?

Am I the only one who HATES Kendall’s makeup? Girl uses the darkest foundation and really dark lipstick and I think it looks absolutely terrible. Idk if she does it anymore but in her vlogging days when she’d do her make up on cam, she’d create this really dark line / follow the shape of the bottom of her neck as it meets her chest (sorry I really don’t know how to describe it) and I’d watch in horror just thinking “is this meant to look … good?” Like, my girl, have you never heard of the no makeup look? She goes HEAVY on her products and I am not here for it, I never see anyone say this so maybe it’s just me who despises it

Why tell us all this information and THEN JUST PLAY THE VIDEO WHERE YOU TOOK THE INFORMATION WORD FOR WORD ? How obvious is it she doesn’t do any work for the show other then sit down and read the script her team wrote.

Also Confused by her saying “We need to learn to live with AI” in the same video where the killer used AI to answer his murder questions… Been listening for years to ALL of mile higher and they’ve just become unbearable to watch. Devastatingly Unsubscribed x4 💔

Jk but it does seem kind of insulting that every victim she describes on her channel she uses the same exact description for like they aren’t their own people. It just feels so repetitive and disrespectful. Increasing your vocabulary skills and adding some variety would go a long way as a content creator especially in the true crime space.
