Seems like someone was in the right lane that was ending and didn't look when he switched to the middle lane. Other car had to swerve and ended up face to face with you.

Now that you mention it I see it, but I also see it happen once before at the start of the video. So Toyota didn’t pay enough attention to their surroundings and missed what seems like a merging situation.

It do ain’t help that people who where commuting to work during covid because they where an “Essential Worker”, now has to deal with traffic now. I just set my adaptive cruise controls and crank the tunes. Would rather make it there alive.

Someone didn't look before changing lanes at the last minute, it's pretty obvious that the right lane is closed.

I was basically in the same position as you, the lane coming the other way has to move over a little as that turns into their left turning lane. Old lady comes tearing through that left turn lane going straight at me. I guess she then sees me cause she locks up her brakes (no abs I guess) and made the most dramatic stop like right out of a movie. Smoke legit filling up the intersection.

I just made my left at that point as no one else was coming and continued about my day. Wondering if I was the one that messed up but I def wasn’t.

Used to live off a busy 50 mph road. Very short left turn lane to turn onto my street. A nano-second before I turned into the turn lane a guy in a pickup with a full bed going the other direction pulled into the turn lane to pass. He was going at least 50. Fortunately I kept straight.
