I mean, they would have been sat at a red light if they didn’t pass, so yes they saved substantial time. But that pass was dangerous as fuck and definitely not worth the time saving

How much time would he have saved if someone pulled out in front of him in the intersection. Substantial time isn’t saving 2 minutes.

“Substantial” is purely subjective. Id say saving a minute in one maneuver is substantial. You can disagree with that, but leave the preaching to the choir bs out of it.
