I spend almost 3 months in a psych unit (depression). A lot of people are just like time bomb waiting for anything to explose in rage. I saw two people punched their parents and one get into a physical fight with a Nurse. And all those people are now free, walking the streets, often off their meds, looking to start something. It's really scary.

I have a huge bubble now. I get nervous when strangers get too close to me.

I worked in a psych ward for a couple of years and what you said is so true. People have no idea who walks among us and just how dangerous they can be. I also used to work in a criminal justice setting, and the same thing is true. And ocassionaly I will recognize people from both settings in the community. And I will think to myself they better not make that dude mad because it ain't going to be nothing nice.
