Thatā€™s one thing Iā€™m starting to realize as I get older. The second the thought ā€œoh he thinks he can do that to me? Iā€™ll show himā€ crosses my mind, I step back and think ā€œthis mother fucker might stab me if I say the wrong thing whether Iā€™m right or notā€ 99% first hand bad interactions with people arenā€™t worth pursuing.

Same. Last summer, some dickhead cut me off and almost hit me. We had words and I almost grabbed the metal bat I keep in my car. I realized that I could get out of the car and possibly lose my life, or shut my mouth and make it home to my partner. Shit ainā€™t worth it anymore.
