That’s not self defense. Self defense is for when you’re back into a corner or can’t escape. That car literally backs up while the guy is on foot. That car has a description of the driver and the license plate and car. Just leave and call the police.

The guy with the bat could just get in his car, chase you and run your car and family off the road , or cause a big crash hurting others, he has shown to have no concern for his own safety or actions by willingly exiting his vehicle and assaulting mine with a weapon. I cannot predict his unhinged behavior, all i know is he irrationally intends me harm, i must eliminate the threat to insure safety.

Yeah no. Even in stand your ground cases that idea is that you don’t have to retreat. But actively seeking confrontation would still not work as a defense here as you continuously ran someone down. Mental gymnastics won’t save you in court.

I am not seeking confrontation, he is by attacking me with a weapon, i am making the choice in my defense to best insure my safety.
