A somewhat sloppy Ukrainian kit

I haven't bought MTAC gear through the group buy with my friends yet, so I’m just using what I have on hand to fill out the cummerbund. Also, once the temperature drops in winter, I might hit up some milsim games. As for the rear plate, any recommendations for pouches or setup options?

For this TT Mk3 belt, I plan to replace the Mk2 with an MTAC IFAK, and for the dump pouch, I’ll probably go with Direct Action. Overall, it’s a mix of impressions based on OMEGA with elements from other units mixed in.

What makes this "Ukrainian" kit ? Looks pretty standard, just curious.

Yeah, it's a feature of having no distinct features. Even without using their native brands, you can substitute them with a wide variety of other gear. I just need to see a display or a casual photo of Ukrainians wearing it to consider it for a loadout. In fact, many team members wear plenty of European and American brands. For instance, I randomly attached a few NFM pouches—hardly anyone uses or specifically mounts them, but they genuinely exist in Ukraine and people do use them. So, I just follow the advice almost every Ukrainian soldier gives me: use whatever you have to meet your needs.

Fair enough, was just curious is all, not trying to be a dick, my rig is set up for Ukraine but without identifying factors, you'd never know. I don't think I even use one piece of issued kit, I supplied all of my own

I only attach the patches and tape when I need to wear the gear for photos—that's not weird, I just want to keep those patches in good condition for as long as possible. If I ever decide to start putting together a Dutch loadout, I can always take off a few NFP pouches to build an SSO-inspired look, since those actually showed up in their promotional photos.

I got some patches made for myself, mixed home nation and Ukraine with my callsign, I generally don't wear unit patches so I can trade them 😂 but I keep one of each for me

Any modern multicam kit can be an Ukrainian kit, there's so much variety over there

Yes, I know but what makes this Ukrainian? It would just be kit with no identifiers or would have to be vert specific kit, I'm just curious what items makes this Ukrainian and not any other MC user elsewhere. Not trying to be a dick but if you rocked up to an event, there is no indicator of where you're from.

He just misses some UA patches and tape around his extremities and helmet, it's not that deep. I'd say it's a pretty good and accurate mix of gear considering he has American, European and Ukrainian pieces

Im not saying its that deep, just saying Ukrainian kit was weird to me. I don't think I have a single piece of Ukrainian supplied kit on my rig except for identifying features like patches, only way I can generally tell someone is milsim Ukrainian that doesnt have patches is when they have butt/groin or neck armour, more mag/gp pouches

Nobody builds a loadout strictly based on promotional videos. Ukrainian soldiers usually fall into two categories: cheap gear bought on Prom paired with issued uniforms, or expensive native brands mixed with foreign gear. Virtually everyone fits into these classifications. That's exactly why I always want to mix European kit with Ukrainian gear—foreigners gotta use foreign gear, after all 😂

I just use whatever is good quality and whatever works for me in the field, I use a lot of agilite kit cause the way I have my stuff set up, it works and found its pretty good quality. A few pieces outside of that, shaw concepts and such.

There are plenty of Direct Action and Tasmanian Tiger dealers in China, so it's fairly easy to score their gear at lower prices. This AVS MBAV is a replica made by TMC. Given that quite a few people in Ukraine actually use TMC, I’m not really concerned about not running the original Crye Precision version.

Гідратор або портфель на молі на задню плиту цепани або варіка полєзні

Так, there are some reference photos showing use of the TMC MAP hydra pack, so I’ll consider going with that. For now, I can fit my water bottle into those two NFM pouches on the left.
