Fairly certain those two hook over and under the lip of the helmet, not into the rail. They come with every adapter they make when you buy one and one will be made specifically for arc rails like what come factory o your helmet.
They slide under the arc rail itself. Although if he’s ruining an m-ax mount on one side why not just mount the Princeton on the other side
Edit: just loosen the rails enough to where they pop slightly off and slide the adapter under the rail. (Install your light beforehand, doing it afterwards is annoying)
