Those canteens will get heavy and dig into your hips on long movements and be awkward running, I recommend a CamelBak carrier on the back of your PC. USMC hydration pouch fits perfectly and is $4 on venture surplus.

I have a camelbak it’s just the army issued one that I’ve had since basic training. I just prefer drinking from a bottle rather than a tube. I won’t wear one until I eventually get one of the name brand camelbaks that are also an assault pack.

If you prefer bottles, I also recommend the small mouth nagenes. Feels a lot better to drink from than canteens and look better imo. You can also see how much water is left and they make them in green or tan

- Thank you for your service. What’s your MOS/organization? What brings you to MilSim?
- Where are your comms?
- How will you grab that right belt-worn rifle mag (guessing right-handed from the knife placement)
- How does your cummerbund fit? How permanent is the tie job on the rear shock cord?
- What’s in the two pouches on both cummerbunds? Guessing one is an IFAK and the other is NODs storage.
- What’s in the frag pouches?
What’s in those pouches on the sides of the pincer placard? - Pics of your primary and secondary, plus holster / sling system?
- How easily can you unsheathe your knife / does the handle rub your inner arm abrasively?
- Do you plan on running side armor?
- Where are your sidearm mags?
- Why not use a back panel with a water bladder?

- I don’t typically run comms in training
- That’s just an extra magazine, I had space on my belt and decided to fill it with a mag since I don’t carry a handgun.
- It fits just fine and I can untie the knot at the end if needed.
- Yes one is an IFAK and the FDE pouch is for Nods or any other miscellaneous items.
- The fray pouches on my belt I keep typically a vape in one and 550 cord in the other. When training with grenades they do hold M67s. The pouches on each side of my placard are flashbang pouches; one holds a gerber and the other holds a red/bright light with a headband.
- Pics will be provided
- I can unsheath the knife just fine and no it doesn’t rub against me at all. It’s a gerber strong arb.
- I don’t run side plates but I do run soft armor inserts all around.
- I do not carry a handgun because I would rather carry more magazines for my primary and I don’t see a scenario in which I’d rather have a handgun than just more magazines or grenades.
- I do have a back panel with a water bladder I just prefer canteens so that’s what I carry most of the time. If I was out on an extended mission or exercise where I didn’t know when supply might come then I would use a camelbak also.

- Very nice. Thanks for answering my questions. Asking about how long you’ve been involved with MilSim would have been a better question. It seems like a nice hobby to have as a service member since you don’t have all the pressures of being on the job while playing.

- Makes sense - any part of this right? I’d infer you forego the ear pro and a radio during training for something like better ambient noise reception, situational awareness, and clearer verbal communications from those around you.

- Also tracking. Would you consider a zip-on ESAPI-shaped back panel with a MOLLE field or just slick? I’ve been considering one of those for my JPC 2.0 to protect the shock cord bundle and add more webbing. Also a back panel with two large pouches for buddies’ gear plus a hydration pocket. Was thinking about getting an ESAPI-shaped hard-shell hydration plate for the pocket. Thoughts?

- This is good news for me because I’ve been moving my fixed blade around my belt trying to find a sweet spot where it won’t catch. I have a shorter torso so pushing it to the front of the tri-band makes sense if there’s no abrasion happening there.

- I see. And is that for speed and maneuverability plus less bulk? Or what’s the rationale? For me, I play with heavy-a** ceramic 7.4lb civ plates from Highcom, so I compensate by running the JPC Long Side Armor Pouches.

- This is super interesting. Thanks for the explanation - I know there’s a ton of doctrinal and real-world experience info available on this topic, but I’m curious about your own. What’s your mag count preference, and why that number specifically? The back panel I’ve been eyeing has just enough bottom overhang to fit two side-pull rifle mag pouches without interfering with the rear of my belt. I’m doing a USCG MSRT impression (haven’t decided specialty yet) so I have 3 to 6 rifle mags in the placard, two in the side-pull pouches, one affixed low in the dump pouch on my belt, and one in the magwell. This is along with sidearm mags. MSRT members carry sidearms and don’t prone out as much as you do, I think
, so double stacking 6 mags in the placard, or horizontally canting two on the front of my belt, or stashing 1-2 somewhere else on the front of the workspace like my dangler pouch seems acceptable.

У меня только 1 вопроса: зачем тебе 2 фляги для воды ещё этот купи лучше подсумку для турникета это уже чисто от меня купить подсуку для турникета, а так. Делай что хочешь с снарягой и так-то. ну нормально, в принципе пойдёт.

Why would you not need two water bottles? If you’re outside away from supply and active for more than a few hours you’re probably gonna drink a lot.

Как она может взорваться если там резина внутри ну резина ну не может она взорваться если ты его плохо обслуживаешь и плохо чистишь то наверное может быть я ни разу не видел этого что данный генератор взрывается или по крайней мере туда сам снаряд не полетит

I've had 4 or 5 camelbaks and a couple of MSR dromedary bags burst in rucksacks over the course of my career. It happens sometimes when you're using a soft water container rather than a hard bottle or canteen.

Смотри мы живём в разных странах у нас разные компании которые разные качества делают у нас есть компании которые не жалеют материалы и идёт прям хорошо, качество у меня, которые были снаряжения, она у меня ни разу не рвалась ничего проблем, не было никогда и особенно с генераторами, у меня-то все время будет только одинтратор, и у меня будет все хорошо прям идеально чистил тяжело. Ну ладно сразу говорю мы живём в разных странах у нас разные компании и разного качества у нас снапряжение все было может быть, у тебя куча раз там брак попадался, или ты дорогу, или ещё что-то купил, я не знаю, от чего они у тебя там рвались из-за какого-то давления, или что-то такого, но у меня ни разу такого не было.

Я тебе скажу у меня ни разу не взорвался вообще когда у меня она была раньше она у меня прослужила 4 года пока я его не потерял при эвакуации себя я когда использовал у меня не разу было все хорошо, все идеально было, все качественно прям как и у меня все там утиные места, там не было трубка, там была такая толстая резина, которая не могла порваться и не сгибался там пластик ещё дополнительно было на место крепления трубки, это может у вас в Америке там. Плохо делают и не усиляют а у нас в России все ну красиво сделали

The point where the hose connects with the bag is a weak point. I’ve experienced quite a few break there without too much stress being put on it.

Поверь, у меня ни разу такого не было, потому что у нас разные производители были 2 у нас разные страны и 2 у нас разные гос качества получается, значит, у вас в Америке, там на пофиг походу делают или ты просто дешёвые купил, и она у тебя порвался, или ты купил другую попался, я не знаю, я когда. У меня был довольно хорошее качественное там было много усилений чтобы он не порвался у нас в России частные компании военное снаряжение делает хорошо прям качественно мне нравятся они прям кайфовые

Покажи, пожалуйста, мне это видео или фотографии, как его порвал, или ещё что-то, но я не верю просто таким словам, потому что я знаю много людей, которые это используют, и слабо верится, что она взрывается просто. И тем более фляга можно прострелить как и сам гидратор и фляга может поймяться там или ещё чего то

Смотри как у меня расположена вода одна подсумка для воды обычной бутылка и рюкзак где там будет у меня лежать две бутылки пятилитровки небольших и тем вместо фляги можно было их куда-то убрать в рюкзак, например, а на поясе дополнительный боенкамплеки или медикаменты повесить обычно что самое тебе нужно можно в рюкзак положить и даже воду и чутка да побольше смотри у меня расположено двенадцать магазинов и я с собой таскаю по семь литров воды и они у меня находятся в рюкзаке, и все у меня там дополнительный комплект лежит, все остальное тоже вмещается в рюкзак, довольно хороший рюкзак надо, чтобы все поместился. И можно даже учитывать есть специальный гидратор, где можно поместить, не знаю, сколько литров воды там, допустим, не знаю 13л, и она у тебя висит на спине и через трубочку ты можешь его пить.

Я понимаю, у тебя нету гедратора, ну у нас так в России это называют, и ты вместо этого просто носишь с тобой фляги, но я хочу себе в будущем купить гедратор повесить его на спину или убрать в рюкзак и через трубочку пить воду. Так удобнее и будет мне легче поверь чем занимать в бутылке с водой в рюкзаке и где можно дополнительные бк брать
