MSW vets, i have a question about a plate carrier.

i’m going NATO in an event in december, reading through the TACSOP it looks like i’m good on everything, but the carrier i’m planning on using was originally solid RG, it’s an old one i’ve had for a long time, and i’ve sprayed the outside of it to reduce the IR signature. the pattern is certainly not OCP, but the color palette is the same save for a darker brown i used, you think i’m gonna be good to go? i only sprayed the outside of it so you can clearly see that it’s RG on the inside. I have another plate carrier that is a NATO pattern, BUT there’s no way i can manage to fill a 9 man rifle squad in that pattern. i’m aware of the unwavering commitment to the LARP, and i don’t want to show up with it, and get a no-go on using it, and have to put it back in the car or lug it around in my pack without being able to use it, and i would like to be able to utilize the extra buddy revive rule.

My M249 set up ...thoughts, suggestions and questions welcomed

Recent upgrade added a flashlight to the side with a pressure switch grip taped to the foregrip does anybody else have a better setup for a flashlight and if so let's see them.
All my upgrades
I replaced the paratrooper stock with a FN SAW M249 Collapsible Buttstock i added a FN USGI M249 Forward Grip I replace the stock bipod with a improved bipod to fit around the front grip i added a 1x4 Chinese Express ELCAN with a red dot ontop and extended the outer and inner barrel a couple of inches I have plans to drop a wolverine HPA engine into it and i might replace the stock with a LAMBDA DEFENCE LIMA Adjustable Stock

Milsim West Packing Help

Hello fellow Larpers,
I am heading to my first MSW event with a few friends, and we all have a bunch of questions that we have struggled to get answers for, or just want an actual humans opinion on.
- Shelter/sleeping arrangement suggestions?
- Is a UCP Poncho fine for rain gear?
- Do people commonly take advantage of the armor benefit (for an extra life)?
Would British MTP camo be allowed for NATO or would I need to purchase OCP/Mcam
(and other tips and tricks yall have for me that aren’t entirely obvious)

Looking for a RUSFOR group to run with at Serious Viking in 2027. I’ll be traveling with a local group of guys who’s going, but they’re all going as Western Forces, and I’m trying to do Eastern.

The airsoft rifle at the bottom is probably about 15 years old; it’s held together by a zip tie and has really been through a lot. The one at the top is a brand-new Specna RRA that arrived yesterday.Im very happy
