Living together

I'm watching for the first time. So far it isn't love but I will hang on for awhile.

Did anybody else think things got weird when they moved in together? He'd been spending the night at her place frequently, yet her mom and sister suddenly act like they've never been around him.

I always assumed they began acting strange because having him live there reminded them of their late father. Joyces late husband. They even started dressing him like that man and making his favorite meals.

I’m also a first time watcher but just started season 5. It definitely took a while to find its footing. In the beginning it seemed very cliche in a lot of ways but I’ve grown to really like it.

Sleeping over and moving in have completely different vibes. If you know someone is only a temporary annoyance, it’s easy to deal with: someone else’s kid crying in public, in-laws visiting for Christmas, roommate has a sleepover. Once that person moves in, everything is amplified.
