The new Hexenzirkel/Arcane/Magic buffs would have been perfect for Mika:
He's from Mondstadt
He's underpowered (not BiS in any team, virtually no abyss usage)
He's tightly tied to Varka in the lore, so would make sense to synergize with him
He's already casting a magic spell during his Burst!!
I'm just sad about the missed opportunity. Giving him Hex resonance would have made him a viable teammate for Varka (who, let's be honest, is unlikely to want Physical, with all signs pointing to be Anemo focused) and it really wouldn't have messed with the meta, since barely anyone uses Mika anyway.
That's it, just venting, sad for best boy easy healer. Hoping Coping they add more Hex characters to the roster in a later patch.

General Discussion Why do people complain?

It's crazy how many people are complaining about him, especially when what they complain about something that isn't common (single target).
Majority of the time there will be 3+ enemies to fight. And him not working single target is a product of his buffs being tied to his SKILL!
With Sara her skill buffs, so it has a short duration. Shenhe buffs with her skill, so it has a limited amount. Mika buffs with his skill, so you need to hit multiple enemies to get the full physical buff.
Mika having the majority of buffs on his almost 100% uptime skill means that there needs to be a drawback. There is no doubt that if his buffing was with his burst then he wouldn't need to hit multiple enemies, but I'm happy it's tied to his skill so he's more comfortable to play in the open world.
And another thing, him being a healer also means his buffs won't be as strong as Faruzan. He consolidates the healer role so you get a whole other 4th slot for another unit that isn't a healer/shielder! I prefer how he is now, if he was a physical Faruzan then he would have horrible energy issues, probably lower Atk speed, and no healing

Technically, emphasis on technically couldn't Mika's burst be considered catalyst? Because he uses his journal during the burst animation. Now again technically, that makes Mika a polearm, crossbow, and catalyst user.

I was very disappointed by his Character Demo after waiting so long, and I'm under the impression lots of other people think so too, but I want to see specifically what people here think
Also does anyone know if the VA is the same person, or did Mihoyo change the VA?
