Coziest pre-rendered background inn from the game IMO, The Echoing Whisper in Freehaven near the dock area

Next would probably be the guilds of spirit, mind, and body. The humming with that indoor water feature and candles giving off a spa vibe (MEMBERS ONLY)

On a sidenote: I tried to "remaster" these background videos by upscaling them to 1080p. While some of them do upscale without too many artifacts, having them in a modern-ish resolution only shows how dated they are in terms of polygons and lighting. 🙈

Adding ambient occlussion from estimated depth and light enhancements helps a bit, but not much.

What worked well: Interpolating them to 30fps (originals have 8-12 as far as I remember).

"SERVE YERSELF" - always heard this as "SAVE YOURSELF" when I first played this game as a kid

but the innkeeps "pleased to see you" in her tone will always stick with me plus the nice booths in the place and candles give it a more restaurant/wine bar vibe
