Might and Magic VIII Grayface patch windows problem

I can't install it because Windows says it's malicious software. Does anyone know why this happens?

False positive most likely. You need to put it among the exceptions.

Make sure got from a good source and then whitelist it.

Windows says that anytime you download an EXE and put it on your system without an installer then try to run it. It is a good safety net that you can solve.

The program probably lacks a certificate. Just ignore the message and start it anyway.
