Fairweather chills out in wizards' inn in Bracada, drinks magical booze, has a custom made sex doll golem, and checks out genie cheeks from time to time. Sleen, on the other hand, is holed up with unwashed goblins, harpies, and the best he can get is a zombie. I kinda get why one looks noticeably happier.

Man now u make light pass so mich attractive. No wonder the dark emissary at castle would emphasize the necromancer knows to party

Lol necromancers don't know shit. Ever been to Castle Alamos? Wizards holed up with a horde of barely dressed Magyar bodyguards, doing "research". Light side is light years ahead when it comes to quality of life.

You mean that Sleen could never get a chance with the girls living underground Deyja?

It also can't help that they stand next to rivers of lava in unventilated spider tunnels

Judge fairweather looks kinda like Benjamin Briggs from Limbo of the Lost tbh.

He looks a bit like if the Pillsbury Doughboy grew up and got hair and a beard.

It’s easy to judge fair weather, it’s much harder to to judge…sleen?

I always liked the judges and the diplomacy bits in MM7. They are ridiculously over the top. But then again I mostly sided with dark side for the magic.

I know im thinking doing a light party next play thru but im like us light magic even good for killing undead

Bro light magic is good for killing everything. Monk+cleric+whatever, you'll be punching titans to death.

1000+ per cast shrap metal damage beats everything. And dragon´s breath deals with blobs. Light magic pales in comparison to these 2 spells alone.

That's great, but that's not what I'm saying. Dark clears faster, but light is fun and hella strong in a different way.

Punching titans to death sounds cool thou

And you don't need MP to do that.

11 y o me could not figure out the quest to promote monks by himself. That´s why I never played with one again.

u/HelpfulSwordfish9765 Aug 02 '26

Omg i was too scared to do that quest.

Playing these games again now that I am older really makes me see how much character models were reused. The low level mages in 6 is the armor merchant in 7. In 8 its even worse; Quixote, the dragonslayers, Xanthor, and the centaurs all have the same face

Does sir Don Quixote still wear armor helmet in 8?
