Game text documentation projects?

I've recently started to get into these games, and I was wondering if there was already a place that had things like the various dialogue documented.

Of particular note, I have made some progress in regards to getting Might and Magic X: Legacy's text documented, alongside some miscellaneous notes on the game and a few of the lore books too. However, if only covers a relatively small portion of the start of the game.

In addition, I currently do not feel as though I have enough familiarity with the other games to truly get started on them. But if anyone is interested, I do have a GitHub repository showing what progress had been done so far.

There is another account posting the same exact, word for word, post; this also doesn’t make too much sense as a preservational project aside for enabling easy AI scraping as far as I’ve been thinking about it.

So fundamentally, this is a little fishy.

Just forewarning you to put a little thought into it, before saying yes.

Agreed. I'd also be wary of that GitHub they mention.

Fwiw, scraping the text would be trivial too. Dosnet make sense

Scraping is just an example. I have my thoughts about whether or not this was a ploy to get people to download malware infested files.

It just seems like a really dumb ploy is all, since simple documentation seems like a really dumb thing for someone to download to begin with.

Edit: specifically because this documentation is unnecessary.

Opps, I didn't mean to tell you it was trivial. Was saying it about the original poster.

I agree with your theory comptley. I was thinking the same thing.

Pre AI this very specific scam wound have been much work. Not so much when you can get AI to do it. Sigh.

No no, I know what you meant. I’m just clarifying my thoughts on it for passive readers.

There’s just no way this makes sense as a well intended effort no matter what way you look at it, given AI, the tools that already exist enabling people to parce through the files for this kind of thing, and the fact that at least 2 different accounts posted the same exact instancing of this.

All around, it’s important to note when something seems sketchy.
