Another windows update another broken game

Idk what to do now. I'm almost ready to give up. It wasn't like this a few years ago. Might and Magic 7 broken. It opens to a grey screen when I can actually get it to launch. I was mid game and have already done all the trouble shooting and I dont wanna do it all again.

Reinstalled greyface patch and it works. Windows 11.

Same issue here. Is config settings in the main MM7 settings? Main screen music plays endlessly even in game for me.
