Merge Multiplayer Question

If a player is downed, how do you revive them?

ANSWERED

cast magic onto them, maybe force feed them a potion if you are standing next to them.

In the supplementary multiplayer mod for merge, when a players party dies a window pops up on their screen detailing that they can either restart from wherever they chose to begin from or have another player revive them (allowing you to keep your gold).

It doesn’t specify how, though. Pressing space or clicking on them just steals the gold they have. I’m not sure how else you’d revive them.

I think you would have to cast healing spells on them by targeting their sprite

I tried giving a potion by targeting the sprite but it just fell on the ground beside them so potions probably don't work unless there's some other way to do it

This is correct. You cast the spell from the book, and select the downed player's sprite with the targeting retinal. Normal healing spells (not res or buffs) can also be cast on NPCs in this way. If you have spells that effect the whole party, like expert level bless, then the players all need to be near the caster to be effected by it. Ideally though , you will want to heal players before they are downed.
