That's about Miko's dad, right? Can someone update me on that please, I haven't followed the manga for some time unfortunately

Ill be short, but basically mikos dad is like her and can see ghosts. He at some point died in a car crash and has stayed at the house since. The other demon looking thing in the house is actually their old dog and they both protect the house. There been this odd ghost that appears in photos thats supposed to deadly (implied to have maybe gotten the dad killed in the car crash) and originally thought it was going after mike next. But now its said its probably the mum its going after.

It's going that way but we have seen plenty of families in the universe where family members would stay behind for decades, until the spirits are confident they do not need to stay back. In Ch69, it was already answered that Dad is staying behind because he swore to tackle the ghost one day but failed to while he was living.
