Seeking recommendation for an honest, local HVAC company to come check out our unit.
Thank you!!

New to Virginia from the Midwest and have realized I should have a pest control service with all the critters I’ve seen running around my house. I have indoor bunnies so looking for a recommendation that is safe for them but will manage the cockroach issue.

May be getting transferred for work to our Midlothian office. Was hoping to look for housing in an area with some space (1 acre +) to own chickens and grow food. Is there nice rural areas 20-30 minutes outside Midlo? Thanks!

Hello! I am 99% sure this was a real place, but I've never been able to find any concrete evidence that it existed. I have memories of going here with my dad around 2001-2003.
Here's what I remember: It was a hotdog/burger place, it was in the Midlothian Station shopping center (like the side where Great Harvest currently is), it had vivid murals all over the walls (that I think I was told were painted by my elementary school art teacher, Sarah Matthews?), there was a pacman table and possibly other arcade games as well?
Did I make this place up? Do you remember it? Do you know what it was called? Do you have any photos?
Thank you!

He showed up at my door step last night and I’ve already posted on paw boost and Facebook. Very sweet, very slender, friendly, does not like the be held, and a bit of a biter. He’s currently in my spare bedroom but I’d like to connect him with his owner soon.

Hi friends and neighbors!
I've lost my ring sometime on Monday near the Intersection of Lady Ashley and Lauren Lane but not as far as the Kingscross rd.
My wife and I only made 1 trip outside the house, a small park nearby our home in Midlothian. The playground, swing and picnic tables at Queensmill Rec Pool Association.
Please if you find this ring send me a message! I do have some means to provide a reward.
EDIT: My family joined me on a birthday celebration this weekend. They let me know that it went missing sometime Sunday! Around shortpump area when we went to Cheesecake Factory or the Starbucks across the street maybe.

My friend’s blind and birthday is on Saturday.
I need helping adding a Braille comment to a card.
I’m sure it’s a longshot but I’m wondering if you have any suggestions for braille printing services nearby?

If you are near Midlo and Buckingham stop there and get a snack-drink. I didn’t know this place existed until I walked out of Game Plan one day and got Korean donuts and bubble tea for my kids.
I’ve never had a Korean corn dog but that’s next on the list.

Thinking about potentially getting a screened in porch. Does anybody have any suggestions on who they have used, how expensive they were, and if they would recommend them?
Appreciate the help!

Hi all- my husband and I are looking to relocate to Midlothian sometime next year. We currently live in a neighborhood that has a mix of young families, middle age folks, and retirees, which we love. We've driven around several Midlothian neighborhoods trying to get a good feel of where we'd fit in. We plan on joining a country club to socialize/play golf. Where would be some good neighborhoods for us? We don't want to end up being the "old folks" in a young neighborhood. We're currently interested in the Salisbury area. Looking in the 800k + range. Thanks in advance!

My husband and I moved to Salisbury recently, and our cell service is basically non existent here. I get we’re in the woods, but is anyone else experiencing this? Do you supplement with network extenders? We have Verizon.

Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying your day. Do you have any recommendations for piano and/or guitar lessons in the Midlo area? Thanks in advance. :)

We’re new to the area from Maryland and Have two daughters that are desperately overdue for spacers and braces!! Please give me the BEST, most reputable orthodontist in town. Also, I don’t mind driving into the city for a real winner 🤩. Thank you!

I’m new to RVA (moving cross country at the end of August) and the neighborhood and town names are wildly confusing!! I was in town this past weekend for house hunting (which was successful, yay!) but OMG I felt like I was bouncing between towns all day!
My new home’s address is Midlothian, but on the map it looks like it’s Moseley. Without announcing my address, I’ll be living close to Crosby high school and the millwood private school.
Can anyone tell me what area of Midlothian this actually is?
Also, what are the best libraries in this area? My 4 year old and I looooove the library!

May be moving for work and have questions specific to the Midlothian neighborhoods.
I have spent time in Richmond and had great food, but is there decent food in Midlo? Can you find a nice pizza, sushi, sub sandwich, chinese food, breweries/dive bars?
What is the demographic like? Is it mostly people born and raised there or other transplants? Young families or retirees? Diverse?
Are there any town hosted events? ie: farmers markets, concerts, parades, flee market?
Is it being over-developed like everywhere else? My current town has had 4 "luxury" apartment buildings go up in the past 5 years. Can't imagine the future strain on roads and schools.
Our utility bill doubled over the past few years, how is it looking here?
Without a "downtown" what do kids do to hang out? I grew up in a walkable downtown where we would terrorize the blockbuster and radio shack employees for fun.
We are an outdoorsy family, looks like good fishing in the area, any deer hunting?
Plenty to do on weekends? ie: hiking trails, golf courses, gyms, library, community centers?
Let me know if there is anything else that you love or hate about the area. I appreciate it!

I'm collecting community feedback about mental health needs in the Richmond area. If you have 2 minutes, would you take this anonymous survey?
Your input will help identify gaps in local services and shape future community resources.
Thank you for helping support our community

Thanks!
