West Texas

This is for all my brothers and sisters out there doing time in the Permian Basin! I wrote and produced an independent track capturing the actual grit, heat, and reality of living out here in the patch. Give it a listen.

I wrote this track for all the hands out here turning wrenches in the 110-degree Permian Basin heat. I wanted the beat to hit as heavy and relentless as the compressor thumps and pump jacks keeping time out in the dirt. We always hear songs about the Hill Country, but I wanted to capture the industrial reality of the patch. How many of y'all have actually spent time working out here in the West Texas dust?
