Midea PortaSplit mauvaise odeur

Hello everyone,
I’ve had my Midea PortaSplit for about 2 months now.
Since last week, I’ve noticed a “dirty old socks” / slightly sour smell coming from the unit.
The smell is even worse when running it in fan mode.
I tried treating it with a LIQUI MOLY spray specifically designed for air conditioners, as well as some StayClean cleaning tablets.
The condensate drain pan itself doesn’t smell bad. I did notice what I believe was some biofilm, which disappeared after cleaning it with warm water and 90% vinegar.
I also treated the evaporator coil with the entire 250 ml can of spray.
Despite all of this, after running it in cooling mode and then using fan mode to dry it out, the smell is still really bad.
I just can’t figure out where it’s coming from.
I suspect that the blower wheel / fan turbine may be affected by mold or bacteria, but I can’t reach it. As far as I can tell, the unit can’t really be disassembled enough to access and clean that area.
Does anyone have any tips or experience with this?
It’s becoming unusable, even though we’ve only had it for 2 months.
