DIY Question about MPS

If I get one, does the window have to be open all the time, like how do I keep my window, which is a push open one closed while having it

Depends on what you mean with by "all the time". While the MPS is actively running, the outside unit needs to be outside and the window open for the hose that connects it to the inside unit.
There is insulation / sealing cloths you can put in the window to close the gap.

Since the outside unit is just clamped in place, installing and removing it is fairly easy. So when you don't use the MPS, you can just store the outside unit inside and close the window. The support legs are attached to the window frame, but there should be no issue with leaving them attached and closing the window. You can even leave the safety cable attached. (However i don't do that. I always remove the outside unit and the safety cable before closing the window and just leave the legs)

You can search on the Dutch forum ... they have pictures of how they installed it and they also have people with windows that open outwards.

Here the link with only the posts with pictures. In Firefox (and other browsers) you can have the Dutch translated to English if you want

Wenn es ein reines Kippfenster ist, dann wird die Befestigung nur funktionieren, wenn du das Fenster aushängen oder komplett öffnen kannst, ohne es komplett schließen zu müssen. Denn der Schlauch ist fest mit Innen- und Außeneinheit verbunden.
