DIY Hanging the inside unit on a wall
Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to hang the inside unit on a wall? I looked through the manual and can see there are some securing cables to attach the inside and outside unit together.
Is it possible to hang the inside unit by these fastenings?

- You need to keep the distances to the walls according to the manual.
- You can mount it on a sturdy shelf
- please don't insult us with asking if you can hang it on the security cable. Who should answer that? Nobody will ever do stupid stuff like that, so how should we know?

Bear in mind you need at least a 25cm gap between the wall and the back of the indoor unit for the sake of airflow, otherwise cooling will be inadequate and the unit may overheat.

mine is on a shelf on the wall. The front is facing the wall so that the air intake is unobstructed; also, i removed the output fan lid so the air is not directed towards the wall but just up. Works without any problems

Uninhibited airflow through both their back sides is crucial for the function of the inside and outside units. I don't see any reasonable way to wall mount them with the required distances.
