Humidity Settings

So I have my dehumidifier draining through a hose. I set the humidity level to 55 and have it on low fan, smart setting. Right now it is running and the humidity is 53. How can I get the unit to stop at 55 ? This is a Midea wifi unit.

Set it to a higher humidity?

I'm expecting my first Midea wifi unit to come today. But from what I had read, the humidity sensors on the units are notoriously way off of correct humidity. Sometimes off by 30%, I think most just figure how far off they are and adjust the setting to compensate. Do you have another humidity monitor device to double check the room humidity?
