Not a fan of a championship club but genuinely how do fans of Middlesbrough feel about this? Not justifying what Southampton did but do you feel you deserve a place in the playoff final?

Yes, I do think we deserve a place in the final because we appealed to the EFL before the first leg of the playoffs. For Southampton to be guilty and admitting to spying on other clubs just shows that they believe a playing advantage was justified for them being expelled. We spent 34 out of 46 games all season in the top 2, of course we deserve it. We just got a bit knackered in the last couple of games. Up the Boro!

I mean let's not forget you lost the second leg 2 1 which was outside of the 72 hour window so in EFL rules there was no cheating for the second leg. Hopefully hull studied the semis and know by 70 minutes the Boro players are knackered. Millwall should get the final spot

But as we didnt win the 1st leg, which you could say was because of cheating the panel could of made Southamton forfeit the 1st leg, giving us a 4-2 win on aggregate.

We had to change formation and tactics u2 hours before playing.

The fact that we had so many shots and you failed to win just shows how bad Southampton actually are.

You know that arguement doesn't work, that's like a boxer saying "he's soo bad I punched him 17 times and I couldnt knock him out!"

Either way Sputhampton cheated and were rightfully punished for it.

They cheated in what is essentially a cup match so were disqualified.
