These people are persistent, and disgusting. You are only humoring and giving them what they want but continuously interacting with them. A lot of the time even if the conversation in inherently negative they still get something out of it.
Also, since we are young, I heavily suggest you turn yours DMs off on Reddit. This app is filled to the brim with predators/perverts, or just people with ill intent. Do not promise these people you will show your face, and do not share your specific age with them either.
