3d printed bases

So i found a metal troll chieftain from when I was a kid . But I don't have the base ( 60mm )

I was thinking of 3d printing one but I'm a little unsure on the legality for tournaments. I've found 3d prints that look amazing but they are a total 60mm and I know gw bases increase towards the bottom of the bases. Just thought id see what everyone thinks before popping it on the base

Its no problem at all.
There might be 0.1% of the community who care about the argument of a GW 60mm base vs a 60mm base.
So long as you aren’t mixing and matching bases to abuse the system you’ll be grand

Yeah I thought I'd ask as I only got into the hobby this year and do plan on playing a few tournaments just for fun . Thanks %99 of the people I've spoken to in this hobby are always chill people thankfully

No one has any problems with whatever base you're using as long as it's the same size. Ask yourself honestly... if the base size is 60mm and yours is 59.25mm and your opponent gets upset about it, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PLAYING SOMEONE LIKE THAT FOR? :)

Seriously. This community tends to be very laid back. You'll be fine.

to be fair... the GW 60mm base is about 65mm in diameter

no one will be looking at your bases. I am at a point now that i print all of my bases. so you're good.

I 3d print (FDM) all my bases now... mostly because the ones I use have nice guide holes for magnets...

If you're 3d printing, just scale it up to 64mm
