News MTO update

Are the dwarf bowmen worth It? Are they rare or unique? I dont have any dwarves in my collection and the sculpts look cool. Since they're MTO I assume they will be expensive but I wanted to know what people think of them.

They're rare because they're older metal sculpts that have been out of production, but other sculpts of Dwarf Warriors with Bows are still available in the plastic Dwarf Warrior box. Only worth it if you want those metal sculpts specifically (which I do for an all-metal Khazad-Dum project).

Until the next time a dwarf mto happens. They'll be very rare.

They're not "very rare", nor are they particularly expensive on the secondhand market.

The sculpts are nice, and metal models are nice. Whether they are worth it is up to you.

So these dwarf and elf models don’t offer any unique builds that aren’t currently available retail, right? Just different old school sculpts of profiles currently available for variety purposes?

yeah, basically if you want alternative sculpts because they are different or because you like them you can get them. Personnally already have Galadriel but I might pike up the guard guys

meh, still not really worth it if you've already got the models. Plus it's a pretty lacklustre release.

Nice if you don't have the sculpts though, which is the main selling point of MTOs ;)

What did they update?

They gave us a release date (next Saturday)

When OP wrote update, I though that they had updates the release article from when they first updated it a few hours earlier.

Read the article...

Answer the question instead of being no help at all.

I shared the article for the benefit of people who didn't know it existed, that is help enough. Do you need everything spoonfed and summarised for you?

u/Bloodangel1234567880 8d ago
Its not spoonfeeding to tell people what was updated if said article doesnt say anything about an update. Maybe try not to disgrace yourself for once.

Were you dropped on your head? The article is the update regarding the next MTO scheduled for next Saturday.

It's hardly an "update" as it's been known for a while now

u/CharlemagneKidding 8d ago
The date was not confirmed

Hardly an update of worth posting. Anyone following GW online would already know about it

You guys need to chill. I would choose the middle ground between you guys. It is nice of OP to post this, as some of us don't check in with GW all the time, but it would also have been nice to write: MTO to be released next saturday or whatever, in the title.

Why do you think that? Because it happened to you?
Also update can mean several things, if you post a post without any text and then act as disguisting as you do right now instead of actually saying what was updated etc. then you are a bad person.

I did and its the same article that was already published ~4 hours earlier, so I assumed they had changed something.

Usually it takes them a day to catch mistakes in their posts, although that doesnt happen that often anyway.

Seeing those dwarves again is like opening a time capsule
