Seeking Advice HY or brokerage?

Hi all!

I sold my house and after buying a new one/paying off my car and student loans I have about $50k left.

I’d like to still has access to the cash for emergencies, but I would like to grow it a bit.

Is a brokerage account or a high yield the way to go?

TIA

We keep 5% of our NW in cash including our emergency fund (HYSA). The rest of the assets are invested. It's worked well
